Jeanne-Claude, the wife of Christo died last night of a brain aneurysm. This is quite sad as I always enjoyed their art even if I never got to experience it. The closest I came to seeing some of it was in Seoul, South Korea. I was visiting the Leeum museum and was able to see some of the development and sketches of The Gates, their most recent completed work that was installed in New York’s Central Park.

This is sad news, but I am relieved to hear that Christo will continue on with completing the upcoming projects.

PS. This is one of the available dogs, and it’s an 8 month old female. The weird thing is she is the same bloodline (same breeder) as my old dog, and she looks identical to him. All signs point to yes.

Now that GPOYW is donzo, I’ve got some updates that I’m gonna share in a few bullet points.

Look at these Winter Olympics champagne flutes from Calgary. Jealous? Yes I’m sure you are.
I found my frames I bought in Seoul! Now I just need to get lenses put into them and I’ll be able to see slightly better.
My grandfather’s (Bopa) 80th birthday party is on December 12th, and to celebrate he is making a German Fire Bowl. Apparently the last one he had was when I was 9, and after 2-3 glasses your on the floor. Oh, and the punch has a flaming cone of sugar on top of it. I will be posting photos.
I’m not moving to TO for December, which totally blows, but I will be up on the 28th of Nov and probably the weekend of Dec 18th. So, mark your calenders.
